Carbon footprint with the Envirometer
With the Envirometer you calculate your carbon footprint. You see your footprint in a table and a graph. In this way you can easily report the carbon emission of your organisation.
Purpose of a carbon footprint
- Request of a customer or client
- To monitor your carbon reduction targets
- For a certificate, like the CO2 Performance Ladder
How to calculate a CO2 footprint?
- Enter the energy and traffic data on the basis of your invoices
- The Envirometer calculates your carbon footprint directly
- The tool uses the Dutch national carbon emission factors, as prescribed in certificates as the CO2 Performance Ladder and ‘Lean and Green’.
- You can also add emissions in the supply chain (scope 3) to your footprint.
Carbon pie chart
- Colourful display of the CO2-balance. You see the contribution per theme and which themes have priority for CO2-reduction.
Zooming in on themes
- Display of the percentages of CO2 per subtheme.
- This piechart shows which subthemes are most important and where most CO2 reduction can be achieved.
Monitoring carbon emissions
- Colourful graphs for multiple years showing the share of the different themes
- You can easily switch the graph to show the progress per employee, profit or (self chosen) quantity
- You can measure your progress with the pre-configured CO2-key indicators like ‘CO2 business traffic per business kilometer’
Progress to become climate neutral
- You can easily make graphs of your scores compared to your carbon targets
- Your target is displayed as a green area
- The Envirometer shows with traffic light colours your progress compared to your targets
Additional strenghts of this CO2 footprint calculator
- With one click you publish your carbon footprint as public footprint
- The carbon footprint table and graphs can easily be inserted in Word reports. You may also export the CO2 footprint tables and graphs in a PDF report.
- The list of required data is useful for filling in the Envirometer.
- You can view your carbon footprint in three ways, in accordance with:
- the Green House Gas (GHG) protocol
- the CO2 Performance Ladder
- the Envirometer themes
- Carbon footprints per half-year, tertial or quater
- Add your own CO2-items for raw materials or services
- Switch to Dutch and your CO2-footprint is Dutch.
